What if your phone could change its feature set on the fly? With modular phones it’s possible. While this exciting and unique take on the smartphone is still in its early days, the Alcatel PULSEMIX is a preview of what a modular experience could offer.
PULSEMIX is based on the MediaTek MT6738 smartphone SoC and offers a variety of SNAPBAK™ covers which add additional functionalities to the phone, such as:
- LEDs for light-up animated effects and big, visual notifications
- Large, stereo 2.5 watt speakers for big, room-filling sound
- Or an extra battery to double the available power store
Other exciting features of Alcatel’s entry-level Android smartphone include 4G VoLTE for HD voice calls, 16 GB internal storage expandable with a microSD card, 2 GB RAM, 8 MP rear camera and 2 MP front facing camera, USB Type-C connector and 2800 mAh battery.
This modular experience is now available to Cricket Wireless customers. Intrigued? Learn more on Android Headlines.
